Polaris Wireless Named to Inc. 5000 List of Fastest Growing Private Companies

Polaris Wireless, the global leader in high-accuracy, software-based wireless location solutions, announced today that it has been named to the sixth annual Inc. 5000, an exclusive ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies.

"We are very proud to be recognized with inclusion in this year's prestigious Inc. 5000 list," said Manlio Allegra, Polaris Wireless president and CEO. "Our robust growth is a direct result of our patented, industry-leading technology, unique product capabilities, and global deployments. We look forward to continuing to build on our success by expanding into new markets worldwide."

Polaris Wireless achieved a major increase in sales bookings in the previous year, setting a company record with a year-over-year quadrupling of sales bookings and revenue increase of approximately 30 percent. The company's revenue derives mainly from its OmniLocateTM universal location platform, and AltusTM intelligent surveillance application. Both products contain the easy to deploy, easy to maintain Polaris Wireless Location Signatures® technology, which identifies the location of a wireless device to within 50 meters. Polaris WLS® delivers the best software-based location in challenging dense urban and indoor environments, and avoids the costly and time-consuming maintenance associated with hardware-based location solutions.

Polaris Wireless also provides its customers regular product enhancements and updates, and 24/7 technical and operational support to better monitor and improve the performance of its solutions. Polaris WLS® is designed to scale as an operator's network grows, providing location capabilities in 2G (GSM/CDMA), 3G (UMTS/WCDMA), and emerging 4G (LTE) air interfaces, as well as indoor technologies such as WiFi, DAS, and Femtocells. Polaris Wireless ensures that an operator's critical ability to accurately locate all wireless devices will evolve alongside its network evolution.

The 2012 Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2008 to 2011. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by June 30, 2008. Additionally, they had to be based in the United States, privately held, for profit, and independent-not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies-as of December 31, 2011.
