Topics:      3D location, public safety applications, E911 and first responders

Where:      IACP Technology Conference, Prime F. Osborn III Convention Center, Jacksonville, Florida, Room 103

When:       Monday, May 20, 2019, 9:30 – 10:30 am EDT

Technology to locate first responders in 3D has been evolving yet has not been effectively delivered to the public safety community. Adoption and interoperability with wireless carriers, deployment of network hardware, and device upgrades are challenging and time-consuming. An effective application must work across any platform with any wireless operator, offering true universality and the most accurate horizontal and vertical location.

This panel will explore the impacts of a commercially viable capability that measures 3D location, including vertical location with 3 meter accuracy, from the perspectives of the technology provider, application developer, device leader, and, most importantly, the public safety community. It will feature presentations from each panelist, a video demonstration of a public safety use case, and panellist Q&A.
