SunCom Wireless (formerly Triton PCS) deployed the Polaris WLS E911 solution after extensive competitive evaluations, including live compliance testing according to FCC OET 71 guidelines. Test results from 60 sites with 150 cell sectors demonstrated that Polaris Wireless technology is in compliance with the FCC's E911 Phase II accuracy requirements with 100 percent yield, even in light suburban environments.

Polaris has since then field proven the WLS solution in numerous countries around the world and secured deployments for a variety of applications on both 2G and 3G networks.
