Polaris Wireless said Tuesday it opened a regional headquarters in Dubai to serve customers in the Middle East and Africa regions.
Santa Clara-based Polaris said the new regional headquarters joins offices in Japan, India and Latin America to expand its international footprint.
"The business opportunity for Polaris Wireless is growing worldwide, following the global trend of wireless operators and government agencies partnering to deploy high-accuracy location solutions for lawful location surveillance and emergency call applications," the company said.
Polaris focuses on real-time, high-accuracy location to assist law enforcement agencies in criminal investigations and antiterrorist activities.
