Polaris Wireless is a pioneer in the development of high-accuracy, software-based location solutions

A strong track record of innovation and growth.

In 1999, Polaris Wireless was founded by Silicon Valley visionaries who invented, developed, and patented the high accuracy, software-based Wireless Location Signatures (Polaris WLS™) location technology. After successfully performing multiple field trials of Polaris WLS in the US and Europe, Polaris Wireless was awarded its first public safety contract with SunCom (now part of T-Mobile USA) in 2003. After expanding its deployments across 24 wireless operator networks in the US, in 2008 the company entered the field it would soon come to dominate, winning its first location surveillance deployment in the Asia-Pacific region.

Since then, Polaris Wireless has continued to expand its patent portfolio and public safety and location surveillance deployments across Middle East, Africa and Asia due to its unique WLS technology and its accurate mass location capabilities. In 2013, the company also won public safety deployments in Asia-Pacific and a commercial LBS deployment with Globe Telecom in the Philippines.

Polaris Wireless was the recipient of the 2011 and 2013 Frost & Sullivan Location-Based Services Enabling Technology Award. Polaris Wireless continues its profitable growth validated by the company’s first appearance on the 2012 Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies.

Polaris Wireless has over 45 deployments worlwide and offices in Zug, Switzerland, Bengaluru, India and Dubai, U.A.E.
