Steve Spain has more than 25 years of experience in the development of estimation, control and signal processing applications for defense and commercial customers. He has worked for companies including Tera Research, Integrated Systems, Inc., Advanced Decision Systems, ESL Inc and Systems Control Inc. He was the principal developer of Polaris's location algorithm and holds several patents for his invention.

Dr. Spain earned a BS degree in Electrical Engineering, an MS degree in Electrical Engineering and his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
